Fairytale Furniture aims to provide products that are uniquely hand painted and finished to a high standard. Illustrations are completely freehand, and are not transfers or stencilled. All artwork designs are original and copyrighted to Karen Trace.
GENERAL: We are a very approachable company and happy to answer any queries you may have on 01273 495674 or enquiries@ft-f.co.uk. We will not disclose any of your personal details to a 3rd party in accordance with Data Protection Act 1998.
PRODUCTS: We buy our items from our suppliers in good faith and paint them with recognised, up to date brands of paint & varnishes. Toy boxes and chairs are not “toys” - and should be treated accordingly. Large toy boxes have a resistance closing lid hinge, but these are not guaranteed safety or anti-slam brackets. The latter can be purchased at DIY stores, but even with these it is advisable to supervise young children with any furniture.We cannot be held responsible for any accidents that may occur one the items have left our premises.
ORDERING: Items can be bought online securely, through our PayPal checkout. We do not have access to customers credit/debit details. For more information about paying this way, please go to www.paypal.co.uk
Cheques must be drawn from UK banks, with the guarantee number & expiry date written on the back. BACS transfers can be made - please contact us for these details.
Orders cannot be paid for over the phone - cash cannot be accepted.
Payment & order details are promptly acknowledged by email or post. Invoice receipts are sent out with each item, or the customer if item is a gift for someone else.
DELIVERY: Toyboxes and chairs are sent by national courier, usually next working day delivery. Keepsake boxes are posted 1st Class Royal Mail parcel. All items are securely packaged within sturdy card boxes. We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage during transit. Courier items have to be signed for & it is advisable to sign ‘unchecked’ if they cannot be unpacked immediately upon delivery. Any damage must be reported to us immediately.
Changes to a delivery address or personalisation details must be made at least 5 working days before estimated delivery date, (such changes may delay delivery). We are usually unable to make alterations once an item has been completed & ready for dispatch.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: If you decide to return an item you do not like, we comply with the Distance Selling Regulations Act 2000, whereby you have 7 days after delivery to contact us by phone to confirm that the item can be returned. Once satisfactorily returned in original condition, we can issue a refund for the price of the item ONLY - not delivery or return postages. We are not able to refund due to mistakes made by the customer (DSR Act 200). In the unlikely event of the artist making an error, collection will be promptly arranged & a replacement given priority - collection & return delivery costs made by us.
